Amenities

The Community Council is responsible for local ammenities including, The Parish Room, Cae Llwyd, The War Memorial and The New Cemetary.

The Parish Room

Built during the 19th Century, whilst a relatively small building it is centrally heated, and consists of a kitchen, meeting room and toilet with disabled facilities.

Cae Llwyd

The field is located at the lower end of the village close to the A5 trunk road. The field is owned by the Community Council, with Conwy County Council responsible for all maintenance work including grass cutting etc.


War Memorial

The war memorial can be seen at the front of the HSBC bank at the upper end of the village and includes the names of the fallen of the two world wars. A remembrance service is held annually in November.


The New Cemetery

The Community Council’s responsibility extends also for the new cemetery which is situated on the edge of the A5 road approx a ¼ mile from the village in the direction of Betws-y-Coed.
